I recently went over to a discount store and found a nice block of pretty dense foam. I manufactured a few DIY cones and here are the results.

Another reason for replacing the cones was to get rid of the while spots in the centers of each drum.

After lots of scissor work I ended up with these four decently-triggering cones.
Here is the snare's new cone. Positional sensing still is going haywire so I think I will use a Roland cone on the snare.
